Introduction: Not Every YouTuber Starts With a DSLR 😄
Why I started posting videos on YouTube is not a success story with a cinematic beginning. It’s a story that starts with 2G internet, a secret recharge, and a boy who loved movies more than homework.
Like many kids from small villages, I didn’t dream of becoming a YouTuber. I just loved watching movies, observing scenes, dialogues, emotions, and imagining myself behind the camera. At that time, YouTube was not a “career option”; it was just a magical place where videos never ended.
Childhood Love for Movies 🎬
From childhood itself, I was very fond of movies.
Not just watching them, but living inside them.
While others were discussing exam questions, I was busy thinking:
“How did they shoot this scene?”
“How does background music change emotions?”
Of course, I had no idea about editing, cameras, or storytelling. I only knew one thing — movies made me happy.
The Legendary Samsung Mobile & Secret Internet Recharge 📱😂
Then came a turning point in my life —
My father bought a Samsung mobile.
It was not a smartphone by today’s standards, but for me, it was nothing less than a spaceship. The biggest surprise?
👉 Internet was working on it.
But here was the problem:
- Internet recharge = money
- Money = parents
- Parents = questions
So what did I do?
😎 I secretly recharged an internet pack.
Using a 2G network, pages loaded slower than government work, but still, I was browsing happily. Every click felt like an achievement.
Jio Arrived & Changed Everything 🚀
Just when I thought life couldn’t get better…
Jio entered India.
Free 4G internet.
Fast browsing.
No tension of balance.
This was not just a telecom launch — it was a revolution.
And that’s when I truly discovered YouTube.
Searching My Village on YouTube (And Finding Nothing) 😐
Out of curiosity, one day I searched:
“My village name on YouTube”
Result?
❌ Nothing
❌ No videos
❌ No culture
❌ No festivals
My village has:
- Beautiful traditions
- Unique festivals
- Danda Nacha
- Simple but powerful village life
But on YouTube? 👉 Total silence
That moment planted a thought in my mind:
“If no one is showing my village, why not me?”
First Videos: Children, Danda Nacha & Pure Village Life 🌾
I didn’t have:
- A camera
- Editing skills
- A plan
I had:
- A phone
- Curiosity
- Love for my village
So I started uploading:
- Children playing
- Village moments
- Danda Nacha videos
No intro. No outro. No thumbnails.
Just raw village life.
WhatsApp Status & My Editing Obsession 😄
Then WhatsApp launched the Status Video feature.
And boom 💥
A new addiction was born — editing.
I started:
- Cutting videos
- Adding music
- Posting status
People reacted:
“Nice video”
“Which app?”
That small appreciation made me feel like a professional editor (even though I was far from it 😆).
Discovering YouTube Monetization 💰👀
One fine day, while randomly watching YouTube videos, I came across a magical word:
👉 Monetization
“Wait… YouTube gives money?”
That moment changed my mindset.
I thought:
“If people are earning from YouTube, why not me?”
So I decided: 🔥 I will become a creator.
The Tech Channel Experiment 🧑💻
To earn money faster, I changed my plan.
I decided to create videos on:
- Online applications
- Aadhaar linking
- How-to tech videos
Because:
- People search these topics
- Views come faster
But life had other plans.
Reality Check: Job, Responsibility & No Time ⏰😔
Suddenly, situation kicked me hard.
I had to:
- Find a job
- Earn money
- Manage responsibilities
I joined a company.
Now my life was:
- Office work
- Tired evenings
- Zero energy
Editing videos? Uploading regularly?
😂 Nice joke.
YouTube slowly went into pause mode.
Travel & Vlogs: The Natural Shift 🌍🏍️
Later, I realized something important.
I may not have time daily, but I travel occasionally.
So I thought:
“Why not record my travel and daily life?”
That’s how travel vlogs entered my channel.
No pressure. No fixed niche. Just:
- Travel
- Life
- Moments
This felt more real and me.
Irregular Uploads & The Honest Truth 🙃
Let’s be honest.
I didn’t upload regularly because:
- Editing takes time
- Job takes energy
- Life happens
Sometimes motivation was high, sometimes laptop stayed closed for weeks.
But still… I never quit YouTube completely.
Why I’m Still Here ❤️
I started YouTube:
- Not for fame
- Not for luxury
But to:
- Show my village
- Capture life
- Tell stories
- Express myself
Even today, when I upload, it feels like talking to my future self.
Final Thoughts: This Is Just the Beginning ✨
My YouTube journey is not perfect. It’s slow. It’s messy. It’s real.
From:
- 2G internet
- Secret recharge
- Empty YouTube searches
To:
- Village videos
- Vlogs
- Dreams
This journey taught me one thing:
Consistency is hard, but passion never dies.
And yes, this silent guy will keep capturing life 🎥💙
